Editing with the Lasso Tool in Doceri 2.0

Doceri Lasso ToolWe’ve been listening to customer feedback since Doceri was first released in February 2011. One of the features most asked for has been an editing tool to cut, copy, paste and manipulate hand-written text and hand-drawn objects that you create in Doceri.

This tutorial video below shows how to use the lasso tool. Follow along as the blue dots represent your fingers touching the iPad screen. Note that these blue dots are for the tutorial only and are not part of the Doceri user interface.

When I circle the text, a dot line box come out with all previous erased text/drawing. After I have done, the previous erases drawings also reappeared in the screen.

Please advise why those previous drawings reappear when I use the lasso tools.

      Hi Larry,

The lasso tool copies all strokes made even eraser strokes. If you want to eliminate strokes use the Undo button. Hope this helps. – Team Doceri
